Join VILMTA

Ready to join Illinois' only virtual local music teachers association? Membership is open to any music educator, no matter where you live, and from the convenience of your desired location.

What Membership Includes

  • Virtual programs — monthly online meetings ranging from teacher enrichment programs to social events.
  • Student e-festivals — virtual non-competitive efestivals your students can enter from anywhere.
  • A statewide community — opportunities to connect with educators from all across the state.

How Membership Works

One MTNA registration covers all three levels:

  • MTNA (national) — national resources, American Music Teacher magazine, educational opportunities.
  • ISMTA (state) — annual conference, state student competitions and programs like AIM.
  • VILMTA (local) — your virtual chapter: be a part of this vibrant and growing online community.
